What would be the new minimum wage, according to the Government of Nicolás Maduro?

The president of the Venezuelan Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Production (Fedecámaras), Carlos Fernández, indicated that the increase in wages to the minimum is being discussed and might reach 50 dollars a month. However, this announcement has been denied by Fedecámaras.

On the other hand, the entity published a statement in which it indicated that it had not determined an amount for the salary discussion. What it has made known is the proposed date to begin the dialogue on the salary that Venezuelan workers might receive.

Meanwhile, in recent weeks there has been social discontent towards the government of President Nicolás Maduro due to low wages.
