Price and performance OK DDR5?!, ‘Corsair Dominetier 6600 CL32 Kit’ announced

Corsair is introducing a DDR5 6,600MHz CL32 memory kit from its DOMINATOR PLATINUM RGB lineup to the DDR5 market, which has recently begun to be distributed starting with the 12th generation of Elder Lake CPUs.

Considering that it is a Corsair brand, it features a slightly more realistic price than the existing high-clock XMP DDR5 packaging.

The announced Corsair Dominator consists of a DDR5 16GB*2 kit. Official specs have the memory timing specs of CL32-39-39-76 at 6,600 MHz. In addition, it supports RGB LED and can be used in synchronization with the LED of Corsair products and ICUE that can set various settings.

As for the supported XMP motherboard specifications, it can be used with Z690 chipsets such as Z690 Maximus Hero and Strix that support Intel 12th generation. A limited lifetime warranty is supported during the product warranty period.

Meanwhile, the official launch price is 429 $ (regarding 530,000 KRW), and in the second half of this year, Intel 13th generation CPUs and AMD ZEN4 CPUs that officially support the DDR5 platform are scheduled to be released.

In the domestic market price, it is expected that it will be released at a price of around 600,000 won including VAT.
