Preview Nuggets – Suns: Nikola Jokic serves you the log

Fifth and last game of this Christmas Day, the Nuggets host the Suns in Colorado. A huge shock in more ways than one, we explain why and we go back to lick the dish of parsley.

For a successful Christmas Day you need stars, guys who make stats and win trophies, “known faces”. Then you need a minimum of sporting interest anyway, otherwise you play Lakers – Knicks five times every year and you don’t talk regarding it anymore.

This Nuggets-Suns? It ticks all the boxes. The Nuggets are leaders in the Western Conference, tied with Memphis, and the Suns are currently fourth following being first for a long time (for regarding two and a half years). Two ambitious franchises on this side of the United States, given the current mess in a Conference that is looking for bosses. In Denver we picked up Michael Porter Jr. recently and the Big Three Jokic – Murray – MPJ is finally reformed (be careful, Jamal is uncertain for tonight). In Phoenix? Apart from the long-term absence of Cam Johnson, everyone is on deck even if we will monitor all day (no) the also uncertain status of… Devin Booker, it’s nerd. Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton will be there to play pick and roll, Mikal Bridges and his long arms will serve dessert in your living room while countering Aaron Gordon.

Interest in the rankings therefore, and a mandatory focus on a man, a double-MVP in title and who never seems satisfied. His stats for the month of December? Uh, sit down, it will be better, and aim instead:

Did you also see the game too lame once morest Dallas? Joking aside, Nikola Jokic hasn’t been a man for a month, he’s an ogre, a titan, and tonight once morest Deandre Ayton he will probably be keen to make the ice cream log – pastry log combo and gobble up all this without chewing to send a new message in the race for the MVP trophy.

If you are still here with us tomorrow at the end of this match you will be part of the elite. A Christmas Day is good but it’s long, but the real ones know that the best of a meal often comes for dessert so save some space, get over it, but see you tonight (tomorrow) to take stock, together, of the wonderful evening ahead.
