Medical intervention of preventive examinationswas held on the two days of July 27 and 28, 2024, to its residents Municipality of Andritsaina – Krestena and his Municipality of Erymanthosrespectively.
The above preventive checks were organized in the context of the cooperation of the Region of Western Greece, with the 6th Regional Office, the Municipality of Erymanthos, the Municipality of Andritsaina Krestena, the Urology and the Pathology – Pre-educational Clinic of the P.P.N. “Attikon”, the Neurological Clinic of the “Aiginetio” Hospital, the Ophthalmological Clinic of G.N. Patras “Agios Andreas”, the G.N. Krestena, the Health Center of Chalandritsa, the Health Center of the upper city of Patras, the Medical Association of Ilia and the Network of Midwives of Western Greece.
A total of 306 people (adults, children and infants) were examined during the Intervention.
More specifically, a Urological examination was performed on 36 adults, using a portable ultrasound scanner, a complete Ophthalmological examination on 84 adults and children, Cardiological examination on 71 adults, teenagers and children, Neurological – Neuropsychological assessment on 38 adults, Gynecological clinical examination Paptest and Transvaginal ultrasound on 32 women, Pathological – Diabetological – Endocrinological examination in 39 adults and pediatric clinical examination in 6 children.
The Deputy Regional Governor PDE, Charalambos Bonanospointing out the value of preventive medical examinations and the essential public benefit nature of this intervention, warmly congratulates once again the president of the Board of Directors of the HEALTH FOR ALL program, Eleni Sotiropoulouthe head of the Program, professor, Georgios Chrousos and all the medical, nursing, administrative and other staff who performed and supported the examinations, providing excellent service.
The Region of Western Greece always stands by in efforts aimed at defending the good of Public Health and especially in actions for the benefit of the most vulnerable groups of the population.
