When washing your face or applying cosmetics, it is also important not to rub the area around your eyes vigorously. The skin around the eyes is much thinner than other areas, and there are no sebaceous glands. The amount of oil and moisture is less than that of other skin areas, so wrinkles are likely to form even if left alone. If strong physical stimulation is applied to the area around the eyes when washing your face or applying cosmetics, wrinkles are bound to worsen.
