1. SARC-F questionnaire evaluation

According to your own experience, answer the following 5 questions, and then add up the points cumulatively. If you score ≥ 4, you may be at risk of sarcopenia.

① Muscle: Will it be difficult to pick up or carry 4.5 kg?

0 points for no difficulty; 1 point for some difficulty; 2 points for very difficult/unable to complete.

2. Leg circumference method

The method is to sit on a chair, step on the floor with the joints at 90 degrees, and measure the circumference of the thickest calf. For men over 50 years old, if the calf circumference is <34 cm; for women, the calf circumference is <33 cm, which means they may be at risk of sarcopenia.
