It is reprehensible that medical teachers incite students to suicide, declared the president of the Medical College in Durango, Humberto Rosales Ronquillo, who stressed that medical students are more prone to stress and depression, so it is very important that in the schools and medical schools redouble psychological care to prevent problems such as suicide.
He stressed that the College of Physicians is requesting the Secretary of Health to redouble efforts and work on the prevention and timely detection of young people who suffer from mental health and be given the treatments they need to improve their quality of life, but above all prevent human losses.
He commented that according to studies carried out by the National Autonomous University of Mexico, it was revealed that undergraduate medicine students have a greater risk factor than any other student for suffering from stress, which is why they must be attended to.
