Ways to prevent the risk of kidney failure:

– Do not take painkillers without medical advice.
– Avoid canned and preserved foods.
– Avoid soft drinks.
The internal medicine consultant also explained the many functions of the kidneys that are beneficial to individuals’ bodies, including purifying waste from the blood and getting rid of excess fluids, in addition to having a functional factor in secreting some important hormones for the body.

Dr. Hala advised consuming a sufficient amount of fluids, especially water, within the limits of 2:3 liters per day, completely abstaining from smoking, which leads to the condition deteriorating, exercising regularly, in addition to the necessity of losing weight because obesity exposes the individual to the risk of developing high blood pressure and atherosclerosis. It also harms the health of the heart and kidneys. Not taking painkillers or antibiotics except following consulting a doctor is one of the best ways to maintain the general health of individuals’ bodies, in addition to staying away from take-out food, preserved juices, and soft drinks.
