There is currently no cure for Alzheimer’s disease, which is why it is so important to prevent this disease, doctors say. In the Telegram channel, the Russian Ministry of Health reminded that this is a disease in which the brain stops working correctly, memory loss occurs, a person begins to experience problems with communication, and intellectual skills are significantly reduced.

Prevention of Alzheimer’s disease means regular reading, solving crosswords and puzzles, attending lectures and theaters. The importance of nutrition is especially emphasized. You need to eat spinach, broccoli, red peppers, cherries, grapes and oranges. It is also necessary to include foods high in Omega-3 fatty acids in your diet. These include fatty sea fish, green leafy vegetables, nuts, and vegetable oils.

In addition, the Ministry of Health recommends ensuring that the body receives elements such as vitamins B12, C, E and folic acid. Physical activity is also important – at least 30 minutes a day, every day. Cardio exercise will lower blood cholesterol and reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases, which also affect the brain. Moreover, running is not necessary; walking, cycling, swimming or skiing are also suitable.
