Prevalence and Risks of Pediatric Asthma in Puerto Rico: Insights and Care

In Puerto Rico, the prevalence of asthma in the pediatric population exceeds 12%.

The attacks of asma are one of the main reasons why children they miss class, so much so that, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the United States would miss approximately 13,000,000 days of school due to this condition.
