The talent consultancy achieves an ebita of 98 million euros in the markets of Spain and Portugal.

The company specialized in leading talent in Spain and in the world closed the 2023 financial year with an EBITA in the Iberia region, which includes Spain and Portugal, of 98 million euros, a figure that represents an increase of 3.1% compared to to the previous exercise. The company’s income in Iberia rose to 1,605 million euros, 3% less.

Randstad Iberia has managed to increase its profitability in fiscal 2023 in a complex and challenging macroeconomic environment. “In Spain we continue to consolidate a leadership position, facilitating access to the labor market for a greater number of professionals and helping companies meet their talent needs. Along these lines, the incorporation of Grupo CTC to Randstad Spain in 2023 has helped us become the reference company in logistics and industrial outsourcing services and trade marketing solutions, also making us a prominent leader in service outsourcing. The result of the synergy between both companies represents the expansion of the range of solutions and highly specialized products,” said Ana Requena, executive president of Randstad Iberia.

Last year, the company managed, on average, the insertion of 57,800 professionals into the labor markets of Spain and Portugal, where it has 357 offices and a total of 2,520 workers at the end of 2023.

Overall results

Globally, Randstad closed last year with revenues of 25,426 million euros, 8% less than in 2022, while EBITA stood at 1,075 million euros, with a margin of 4.2%.

“Randstad has demonstrated good adaptation in an economically uncertain year and in an environment of talent shortage,” said Sander van’t Noordende, CEO of Randstad Global. “We hope that our ‘partner for talent’ strategy will position us well to capitalize on the exciting opportunities in our markets,” he added.

At its next shareholders meeting, Randstad will propose the distribution of dividends of 632 million euros, which includes an ordinary cash dividend of 2.28 euros per share and a special payment of 1.27 euros per share. Globally, Randstad is present in 39 countries around the world, has more than 4,900 offices, 49,300 employees and inserts 662,600 people into the labor market every day.
