A According to information from National Sport Péter Szappanos did not travel to Paks’ Conference League qualifier against Mlada Boleslav. The Hungarian goalkeeper received an offer from Saudi Arabia and traveled there for a medical examination.
The 33-year-old goalkeeper was previously interested in Belgium, but according to the signs, he may sign with a Saudi team. Paks will play in the Czech Republic on Thursday, in which match Simon Barnabás will presumably defend.

According to the information of NB1.hu, Szappanos, who has already passed the medical examinations, can sign with the Al-Fateh team, which finished in 7th place in the Saudi league.
