We would like to send you an invitation to the press conference on the occasion of the event planned for 2024 Opera production “Aida” in the opera in the St. Margarethen quarry.

Surrounded by the Rust hills, the impressive open-air arena in St. Margarethen attracts visitors from all over the world every year to top-class opera productions. After this year’s performances of Bizet’s “Carmen”, Giuseppe Verdi’s “Aida” is on the schedule in 2024. With the passionate story of a great love, Verdi created one of the most important operas – with the lyrical arias Aida, Radame’s dreamy romance “Holde Aida” or the opulent triumphal march – about the immortality of love. Like hardly any other opera, Verdi’s masterpiece fits harmoniously into the rough rocky landscape of the St. Margarethen quarry.
The press conference at the Haus der Musik will be held by ORF-Kulturjournalist Johanna Berki moderated and takes place in the presence of the following people:
