Presidential Health Adviser: Corona medicine will be available in pharmacies tomorrow

Dr. Mohamed Awad Taj El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Medical and Preventive Affairs, said that the situation of Corona in Egypt indicates that there are no turbulent or sharp increases, and most cases are controlled, especially since 99% of the infected cases are treated at home.

Awad Taj El-Din added, in a telephone interview to the “Hadrat Al-Citizen” program with the media, Sayed Ali, that the antiviral drug “Monlopiravir” will be available in pharmacies today or tomorrow, at a price of 400 pounds, stressing in the same context that this drug is only taken with a prescription. Therefore, all patients are requested to obtain it with a prescription from chest doctors, because there are cases that do not need to obtain it.
