Presidential election in Madagascar: ex-judoka Siteny enters the campaign

The Malagasy presidential election was relaunched this Thursday by the decision of a candidate to no longer boycott the campaign. Until now, the collective of 11 candidates had decided not to participate but ex-judoka Siteny Randrianasoloniaiko finally joined the campaign even if he still says he agrees with the opposition’s demands.

The third summit of the world’s three major tropical forest basins (Congo, Amazon and Borneo Mekong basins), considered essential for climate regulation, is being held in Brazzaville. The objective is to relaunch collaboration between the countries concerned to better preserve our biodiversity.
