There was not much time to commemorate the dead of Belgrade: the three-day national mourning had just begun on Friday after a 13-year-old is said to have killed nine people – eight students and a security guard – in a school on Wednesday. And then Serbia was once again shaken by reports of an amok attack. A 21-year-old is said to have shot and killed eight people in three villages near Mladenovac, about 40 kilometers south-east of Belgrade. 14 others were injured in the attack on Friday night.
