Yes, instead of old promises, we made new promises that maybe we will change something in the course of the year, borrow, revise, but the fact remains: we will not reach 130 percent at this pace, the promises made to teachers will hang in the air,” said G. The President says that he will closely follow the country’s economic forecasts next year and will remind the Government of the promises made to teachers.

“I think that the teachers’ questions remained unanswered,” said G. Nausėda.

The government planned to increase teachers’ salaries next year in these two stages, but by 10 percent each. Such a proposal was approved after the adoption of the state budget.
