President Ersin Tatar issued a message of condolence regarding the death of retired Lieutenant General Ali Yalçın, one of the former commanders of the Security Forces and the Turkish Cypriot Peace Forces.
The condolence message of President Ersin Tatar is as follows:
“It is with great sadness that I learned of the death of retired Lieutenant General Ali Yalçın, one of the former commanders of the Security Forces and the Turkish Cypriot Peace Forces. May God have mercy on Ali Yalçın Pasha, who has provided important services for our country during his tenure, I offer my condolences to his bereaved family, relatives, Turkish Armed Forces and our nation.
