President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehrban Aliyeva congratulated the people by lighting the Nowruz torch.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehrban Aliyeva and her daughter Arzu Aliyeva saw the progress of the works in Talish village of Tatar district. The brave Azerbaijani army under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, liberated this strategic area from Armenia on October 3, 2020. At a high point in Talish village, a commemorative stone was installed with the text of the tweet shared by the Commander-in-Chief on the day the area was liberated from occupation.

Ayman Hosseinov, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories of the Karabakh Economic Region (except Shusha District), informed the Head of State and the First Lady about the work done on the basis of the master plan of Talysh village. On October 4, 2021, the head of state raised the national flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the flag square of Talish village. As part of the first phase of renovation and restoration works in the village, Flag Square was landscaped. The Head of State and the First Lady visited the two-storied administration building, a kindergarten and a 78-seater school.

On this occasion, the President of Azerbaijan lit the Nowruz bonfire in Talish village and congratulated the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the holiday.
