President Maduro made changes to the cabinet by appointing new ministers

On August 27, the president Nicolas Maduro announced that he will renew half of his Executive Cabinet. This was announced during the meeting with the Communes in Caracas.

“I will now announce the necessary changes in various ministries, to align the strength of the popular government for the new stage of the transition to socialism,” he said.

President Maduro ratified Delcy Rodriguez in the vice presidency of the Republic, and assigned him the Ministry of Petroleum.

He also confirmed the status of the Minister of Defense, Vladimir Padrino, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil.

In the Vice Presidency of Citizen Security, as the new Minister of the Interior, Justice and Peaceas well as Vice President of Government for Peace, to Diosdado Cabello Rondón, who returns to the Ministry 22 years later.
