The National Assembly denied and filed Investment Lawwhich from the government It would allow greater employment opportunities for Ecuadorians. President William Lasso He pointed out that this is turning his back on the country.

In a message, through a video, he branded the current legislators as thieves and corrupt. He indicated that he will look for the alternatives offered by the Constitution to find alternatives necessary for the benefit of citizens.

“This National Assembly has turned its back on Ecuadorian women, on young Ecuadorians, denying them the opportunity for employment and prosperity. I want to tell all of Ecuador that this law has been denied because we have not accepted the blackmail of assembly members who come to ask for hospitals, electric companies in exchange for their vote”.

“The last straw is that the Assembly members have come to ask the Government for money in cash. We cannot allow the corruption of tax evaders who want to redeem their vote because we do not charge taxes”

“In this country you have to tell the truth. We are going to analyze all the alternatives established in the Constitution to fight for this opportunity that the Ecuadorian people aspire to: a job, an enterprise, a job for a young Ecuadorian who graduates from his university”.

“These gentlemen of the National Assembly, the only thing they have done is make him lose that opportunity because they are thieves and corrupt. You have to say it clearly and you know it and you are outraged once morest these politicians.

This March 24 the project of Investment Law suffered its first refusal in the Legislative. The benches of UNES and Pachakutik prevented the approval of this document sent from the Executive. Then, with 87 votes, the Legislature denied and filed the bill.
