President Joko Widodo will lead the groundbreaking or groundbreaking a number of projects in the 8th phase of the development of the Indonesian Capital City (IKN), Wednesday (25/9). “This is clear evidence that the archipelago has been well received,” he said in an official statement, Tuesday (24/9).
The foreign investment that will fund the IKN project is a company from China, Delonix. They will build a mixed-use mixed-use area such as hotels, apartments, offices and shopping centers in the new capital.
There are two domestic companies that are also investing in the archipelago, namely Primahotel Management Indonesia which will build a 3 Star Hotel, and PT Plataran Boga Rasa which will build a venue. Meanwhile, two partnering companies, namely Australia Independent School, will build international schools from early childhood education (PAUD) to high school (SMA), and PT Magnum Investment Nusantara will build residential and commercial areas.
“The entry of foreign investors shows the same strong interest as domestic investors in the potential of the archipelago,” said Troy.
This 8th groundbreaking, said Troy, continues the series of development which had previously reached the seventh stage. Last week, Swissotel Nusantara was inaugurated as well as the groundbreaking of Nusantara Mall and Duty Free, which added to the list of important infrastructure projects and facilities in the archipelago.
Troy added that President Joko Widodo showed great attention to the development of IKN. Strong support from the government will also continue under the administration of President Prabowo Subianto, who in a cabinet meeting last August in the archipelago emphasized his commitment to completing the development of the archipelago.
