Antonella Petro Alcocer, youngest daughter of President Gustavo Petro, became a trend this week on various social networks, after the president reported that the minor was harassed by a woman in an amusement park in the United States.
“This happened with my daughter in a park in Florida, USA, where my daughter went with her family. This is how a right-wing Colombian lady treated her. Not content with the harassment she suffered at the Barranquilla stadium, she continues the persecution of right-wing ignorance against a minor. The prosecutor is silent,” she said.
The leader of the Historical Pact, however, did not leave the matter there and shared the photograph of the woman who confronted his daughter and wife, Verónica Alcocer, in North American territory, publicly exposing it on digital platforms.
“He believed that attacking the mother in front of my daughter, a minor, was not a crime in the US and Colombia. She believes that she has every reason to slander, and she believes that it is not slander, but truth. That ignorant hatred is induced,” she initially stated.
Then, Petro sentenced: “They read it and it is introduced into the smear campaigns, they hear it in media comments. His hatred is provoked by powerful people who have economic interests. They are victims of manipulation.”
