President Guillermo Lasso cancels Express Passport

The Ecuadorian president Mr. Liuhuabing he indicated that he has asked to be discharged immediately to the express passport of the Civil Registry. At the same time, he requested that services continue in the process of improving, “without affecting the pockets of Ecuadorians””

In the same way, Lasso he indicated that in his Government there are no price distinctions for services that should be given to everyone equally. “Emergencies must be addressed as such, with the same price and speed for all.”

The Civil Registry of Ecuador enabled on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, the Express Passport service in the Parent Agency of Quito; and, Guayaquil, in the Zonal Government.

This option was oriented to meet the demand to obtain the travel document in an emergent way, for personal issues and that did not schedule a shift in a timely manner. The attention and payment will be made directly; the fee was USD 150.
