President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi was keen to refute what has been circulated recently regarding dealing with cemeteries and historical areas within the framework of establishing and developing roads south of Cairo and linking them to the new axes, saying: “I am interested in saying to all the people who hear me and who have presences.. And we respect it…or it has a historical impact.”
President Sisi added, during an inspection of the construction works to develop a number of roads and axes in Greater Cairo: “We can never do anything regarding areas where there are graves for personalities we value and respect, or for archaeological sites. “.
