President El-Sisi follows up the development of the technological infrastructure and stresses the facilitation of citizens’ lives

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi directed to continue intensive work to enhance the state’s capabilities in the field of communications and information technology, and to ensure optimal operation of the emergency and public safety system, to achieve a speedy response by state agencies to all emergencies and crises within short periods of time, stressing the importance of making every effort to facilitate the daily life of citizens. And save their time and effort, and achieve the highest levels of security and safety for the Egyptian citizen.

This came during President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi’s meeting today with Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Lieutenant General Ahmed El-Shazly, Head of the Financial Affairs Authority of the Armed Forces, and Major General Staff Bakr Al-Bayoumi, Director of the Signal Department of the Armed Forces.

Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, the official spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic, stated that the meeting witnessed follow-up efforts to develop the technological and information infrastructure at the level of the Republic, within the framework of the strategic project for the digital transformation of the state. The executive position of the unified national network for emergencies and public safety, which links all emergency elements and vital facilities, such as ambulance, health care, rescue and civil protection agencies, was also discussed.
