Success of the Transition in Burkina: “The serenity of President Damiba is contagious” (Prime Minister)

Ouagadougou, August 24, 2022 (AIB) – Prime Minister Albert Ouédraogo assured yesterday Tuesday, during an interview, that he discovered in the person of President Damiba, a very serene man with great confidence in the future and whose serenity is contagious as to the success of the Transition.

“I discovered a man, a patriot. Someone who has values ​​and who believes that this country can get out of this situation (safe and humanitarian). What fascinates me regarding him is that he is someone who is very calm and who has great confidence in the future. His serenity is contagious,” said the head of government, Albert Ouédraogo.

He also reassured the Burkinabè of his government’s determination to lead the Transition with all the rigor and commitment that befits them.

The boss of the executive spoke yesterday Tuesday evening in Ouagadougou, during an interview on the airwaves of Burkina national television.

Albert Ouédraogo also requested the support and accompaniment of the population for the success of the Transition.

“This is why I reiterate the call once once more for the sacred union, for the solidarity launched by the President of Faso so that we can together save this country which is dear to us all”, he said. he argued.

The head of government invited all the sons and daughters of the country to abandon internal quarrels, in order to save the nation which is the only good of Burkinabè.

As a reminder, Albert Ouédraogo was appointed Prime Minister of Burkina on March 3, 2022, following a coup d’etat which brought Lieutenant-Colonel Paul-Henri Sandage Damiba to power on January 24.

He blamed the former president, Roch Marc Christian Kaboré, for his inability to cope with the multiple terrorist attacks that have been going on for seven years in the country.
