Yesterday, President Nayib Bukele was part of the Conservative Action Political Conference (CPAC), in the United States, where he was received by hundreds of event attendees. Given this, the renowned news agency The Associated Press (AP), with more than 16 million followers on X, said that the President was received like a rockstar.
“The President of El Salvador receives a rock star welcome at a conservative meeting on the outskirts of Washington,” was the media’s headline.
Various photos and videos circulated on networks of not only Salvadorans, but also Argentines, Peruvians, Colombians and Americans who approached the President to congratulate him or who applauded loudly in an ovation at the end of the Salvadoran President’s speech.
