In the elections of February 4, the President of the Republic, Nayib Bukele, obtained 84.65% of the votes, making him the president with the most electoral support in Latin America, which granted him the license for a second presidential term with a high percentage of Salvadorans in favor.
In the history of El Salvador, President Bukele became the President with the most votes. In Argentina, Javier Milei won the presidential elections with 56% of valid votes, months before, Bernardo Arévalo won in Guatemala with 60%; Santiago Peña was elected head of state in Paraguay with 43%.
Gustavo Petro was elected in Colombia with 50.44% of votes; in Brazil,
Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva achieved 51% electoral support. In 2021, Daniel Ortega was re-elected to the presidential office of Nicaragua with 75% of the vote; Xiomara Castro in Honduras won with 50.63%.
In Ecuador, Daniel Noboa was elected head of state with 52.29% of the votes, while the president of Chile, Gabriel Boric, won with 55.87%, however his image has declined dramatically as his presidential term progresses.
