President Gabriel Boric responded to meterfollowing the media outlet shared a note on its social networks where it was pointed out that the president greeted “an imaginary person”, as a result of his Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (TOC).
The note alluded to the president’s participation in an activity held at Columbia University, where the Head of State crouched in front of a chair while it remained empty. He gesture that unleashed thousands of reactions on social networks.
“Although some said that it corresponded to a role on the couch, others insist that it responds to his OCD, because at the exit he made the same gesture,” it was detailed in the lowering of the note that was later eliminated.
Given this, the President of the Republic responded to the publication shared through Twitter. “Mr. editor of Metro Chile, OCD does not make you see ‘imaginary people’. I ask you not to contribute to the stigmatization of mental health that sadly abounds in networks”, he expressed.
