Through a statement, Juan Gerardo Guerrero, Secretary General of the Presidency, reported this Sunday that President Bernardo Arévalo made the decision to dismiss the Minister of Environment and Natural ResourcesMaría José Iturbide.

The dismissal of the minister occurs following it became known that her daughter, María Fernanda Iturbide, used state vehicles and security elements for his personal activities.
