President Arce appoints new commanders of the Bolivian Military

The president of Bolivia, Luis Arce, appointed new commanders of the Bolivian Military on the Govt headquarters within the midst of a navy motion that he described as a “coup d’état” by Juan José Zuñiga, who till at present was the overall commander.

The Bolivian president appointed José Wilson Sánchez Velásquez as Common Commander of the Military, Gerardo Zabala as Commander of the Air Power and Renán Guardia Ramírez, Commander of the Bolivian Navy.

“Nobody needs to see the picture we’re seeing on the streets, nobody. That’s the reason, now, in my capability as Common Commander of the Military, and on behalf of the three drive commanders, I ask, I order, I order that each one personnel who’re mobilized within the streets should return to their items,” he mentioned. Sanchez.

Moreover, he assured that the brand new Excessive Command will “adjust to what the norm, the CPE and the legal guidelines say (…) that the legally constituted Authorities stays in accordance with what the State laws say,” he concluded.
