President AMLO’s Promise to Transform Mexico’s Health System

By returning to his phrase “I’m tired of the goose!”, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador guaranteed that he will fulfill his promise that before the end of his government he will leave behind a health system that is one of the best in the world.

When supervising the progress of the federal government’s social programs in Chicoloapan, State of Mexico, the head of the federal Executive accused that his adversaries claim that he will not be able to fulfill this promise.

He highlighted that 2 weeks ago he inaugurated the Wellbeing Megapharmacy in Huehuetoca, State of Mexico, in which it will be guaranteed that not a single medicine is missing anywhere in Mexico.

“I have a little less than nine months left, but we are going to comply. Before I finish, the health centers, the rural medical units, the hospitals will be in good condition, they will have new equipment, there will be general doctors, there will be specialists, medical care, studies, interventions surgical; the medicines that will not be missing. Everything will be free.

Accompanied by Governor Delfina Gómez (Morena), President Andrés Manuel López Obrador affirmed that he is working on “several fronts”, but where he is dedicating more time to the health system, and where he also promised to basicize all workers in the health sector.
