Jay Park, who resigned as the head of hip-hop labels AOMG and H1ghr Music, seems to be preparing for full-scale retirement by organizing his Instagram account.
On the 1st, Jay Park organized his Instagram posts and deleted his account. Currently, when I search his Instagram, the phrase ‘the page is not available’ comes up.
On the 31st, Jay Park posted on his personal Instagram account, “After much consideration and long decisions, I have decided to resign as the CEO. AOMG and Hier Music have officially announced their resignation.
Jay Park founded the hip-hop label AOMG in 2013, and his artists include Simon Dominic (Ssam D), Gray, Loco, Lee Hi, Code Kunst, Woo Won-jae, GOT7 Yugyeom, and others.
In 2017, he established Hire Music to which Sik-K, Kim Ha-on, Big Nati, Groovy Room, Trade L, and JB belong.
On the 30th, the day before his resignation as CEO, he posted on Twitter, “If I retire or disappear, please miss me.”
He has also mentioned his retirement several times through interviews and documentary broadcasts. Recently, his soju brand business has begun to take shape, and his retirement is becoming more certain.
Meanwhile, Jay Park released a new song ‘To Life’ on the 1st. If retirement is decided, it will be his last musical activity.
