Sharjah, September 14 / WAM / The Central Region Police Department, during a coordination meeting chaired by Colonel Hamid Al Jallaf – Acting Director of the Central Region Police Department, discussed the readiness and preparations for the winter season 2023-2024 for visitors to the wilderness areas in the region, in the presence of representatives of the Special Tasks Department and the Department of… Traffic and patrols, operations management, media and public relations management, and a number of external center directors and department heads.
Participants in the meeting reviewed the latest statistics related to the results of past seasons and a number of topics that enhance security and safety in wilderness areas, in addition to emphasizing the readiness of the Central Region Police Department to receive the winter season in cooperation with other departments by providing all security measures.
The attendees also reviewed plans to launch awareness campaigns for the public, and intensify the security presence, including patrols at the entrances and exits leading to land areas. To provide the highest rates of security and safety, protect lives and preserve property.
