Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education, issued several directives to directors of educational directorates, and heads of exam conduct committees, in all governorates, regarding preparations for the general secondary exams 2023.
These alerts were as follows:
– Distributing high school exam questions on time with the start of the exam timing.
Do not delay distributing the question paper.
– Applying the inspection firmly, and not being lenient regarding the dates of students entering the committees and entering them at the specified time.
– The need to review the cameras inside the committees before starting and following completing the exam.
– Turn on the cameras from the beginning of the exams until the end.
Observers in the committees must make sure that each student writes his complete information before leaving the committee.
– Do not leave any booklets of questions related to absent students inside the boxes and hand them over to the chairman of the committee.
– Collecting the answer papers (Babylon sheets and pans), directing that the committee chairman not leave before confirming that the students hand over the two papers together.
Absolutely not possessing a mobile phone inside the committees
Not to be complacent during monitoring.
– Do not allow any kind of fraud.
Providing the appropriate environment for students to take the exam in an appropriate atmosphere and provide reassurance and psychological comfort.
– The need to take into account students with chronic diseases by following up their condition and facilitating them in the event of any treatment or medications being taken.
Today, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education and Head of the General Secondary Examinations, held a meeting with the directors of the educational directorates and the heads of the examination committees, in all governorates, via video conferencing technology. To assess the situation during the previous exams and the problems faced by the heads of the committees during the course of the exams and to review the preparations for the upcoming exams.
This came in the presence of Dr. Ramadan Mohamed Ramadan, Assistant Minister for Assessment and Examination Systems and General Supervisor of Assessment Work, Khaled Abdel Hakam, Head of the Central Administration for Educational Dropout and Vice President of Examinations General, Major General Ahmed Abdel Fattah, Head of the Central Administration for Security, Mohsen Abdel Aziz, Head of the Central Administration for Education Technology, Hisham Jaafar, General Manager of Legal Affairs, and Wael Shaarawy, General Manager of Internal Audit and Governance.
