Those members who do not have their prepaid fee frozen will have an increase in the December fee of 11.51%. These are those people who did not declare having monthly family income of less than $2 million or declared it above that amount.

Members will receive information from private medicine companies, since they must communicate 30 days in advance. For these affiliates, the bill paid in November has an increase of 10.98%.

The national government agreed with the prepaid companies to freeze installments for 90 days (October, November and December) for affiliates with income below $2,000,000. For the rest, the increase in the fee is maintained, according to the evolution of the Health Cost Index prepared by the SSSalud.

November arrives with new price increases in services and food

It is estimated that the quota is frozen between 10 and 15% of the system’s register. This is because almost half of the register are corporate affiliates where the fee is negotiated with the contracting companies. And because of the rest, the general increase is applied to those who did not complete the affidavit.

Users who wish to request the freezing of the quota must complete an online affidavit all these months (provisional suspension of the application to update the values of private medicine company plans) and comply with various requirements linked to the income and assets of the family group attached to the health plan.
