BAND from London, England, Prep, released a new single entitled Call It (feat. Eddie Chacon) via Bright Antenna Records before their concert in Jakarta, this weekend.
Prep is scheduled to hold a concert at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Saturday (11/5), which is part of their 2024 Asian tour.
Along with the release of the single Call It, prep also announced their new album The Program, which will be released on June 7, 2024.
About their collaboration with Eddie Chacon, known as the duo Charles & Eddie in the 90s, Prep said, “That day was one of the best days in Prep’s journey. We all really idolize Eddie Chacon and the music he has been making with John Carroll Kirby. We were very honored when we learned that he wanted to collaborate with us.”

“This song was finished in just a few hours, everyone was playing synths and other weird instruments. There might even be an electric sitar sound too. Anderson .Paak that day left a bottle of tequila from a Grammy party in the studio. We finished the song Los Angeles style.”
“This past year has been truly amazing, we’ve been traveling around the world, gathering ideas, looking for new people we want to collaborate with, and our new album encapsulates all of that.”
“There are a number of musicians who we collaborated with on this album such as Renaud Letang, Eddie Chacon, Phum Viphurit, Vicky Farewell, Anomalie, they all brought new inspiration and helped us produce new nuances. This album feels like the four of us are performing in one shared room,” continued Prep.
Prep, currently, is on their Asian tour which will stop in Jakarta on Saturday (11/5) at Tennis Indoor Senayan. (RO/Z-1)
