The successful series #holidayfeeling is now in its third season. This time was unusually different.

The first two seasons of the short film series #urlaubsfühl, produced by Wagrain-Kleinarl Tourismus, not only received more than 2 million YouTube views but also won several national and international awards. Wagner Rein-Klennar is now in its third season.

If you stay true to the idea and make it the best you can, and you like it, maybe other people will like it too, but you don’t know. If you think regarding your audience and build for them, you have an equally good chance. They may hate it, but you didn’t build it for yourself. This seems like the wrong path to me. Build it and make it really work on the idea.

In a few words, world-renowned filmmaker David Lynch (Twin Peaks, Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet) sums up in a few words the role of the Walgrain-Klennar Tourist Office in the third season of #urlaubsfühl In: The Magic of Reality.

After a hugely successful first two seasons, you think regarding returning to the game more than three times. But we are brave. As usual, in Season 3 we wanted to break the mold and try new things, explains Wolfgang Wild, Head of Marketing and Communications at Wagrain-Kleinarl Tourismus. This time we want to deliver festive effects directly to your home. Free regeneration. Of course, that’s not as effective as our valley vacation. But in small doses, these films actually have an immediate regenerative effect.

Wagrain-Kleinarl hopes to exploit the possibilities of membranes to achieve a regenerative effect, at least on a small scale, even without resorting to the site. Every good movie captivates its audience from the beginning. Suddenly, everything regarding the day is forgotten and you are completely absorbed by the events of the movie. There is much more than meets the eye. You don’t just watch the movie, you feel it with your skin and hair. Wolfgang Wilder adds that this sensory effect can lead to mental and even physical regenerative effects.

The film is produced and directed by Carinthian filmmaker Robert Schabus, known for “Bauer Unser”, “Stadt Land Boden” and the film documentary “Alpenland”, which Consistently critical of Alpine tourism.

At first I thought: No, this is not for me. Two or three weeks later, the tourism association’s request happened to fall on my fingers. As I read through the brief, I felt like the district was trying to go a different path, not faster, higher, stronger, but somehow trying to look in a different direction. This is what interests me. A decisive factor in the project was also that the tourism association was looking for someone who might see the landscape with a cinematic perspective, slightly different from the advertising images. This appeals to me. Let’s try it! Filming took over a year. Overall, Robert Shabbs is very proud of the number of shooting days, equivalent to an entire feature film. This brings incredibly fascinating moments of encounter with the landscape, as well as very personal interviews with Annemarie Moser-Pröll, the ski legend and athlete of this century, and 10 other celebrities from the valley.

Contemporary composer and musician Manfred Pressl contributed a dramatic symphonic score.

The result is a third season that feels more like its own mini-series of “monumentary shorts,” filled with great cinematic moments, hence its own series title.

Episode 1) “Energy Beam”, Episode 2) “Zeitgeist”, Episode 3) “Mountain Stormer”, Episode 4) “Heartbreaker”, Episode 5) “Raw Power”
