Premier League|Lenica says Tottenham players are suspected of collective food poisoning, Shake may be hit for fourth place

Lenica, who is currently a football critic, posted on Twitter today that he heard regarding the outbreak of food poisoning in the Tottenham team, and said “I’m not joking”. Only the Tottenham team reporter pointed out that Linica’s statement was not entirely correct, and only said that the team’s striker Haley Carney canceled the meeting with the media due to physical discomfort.

Tottenham also suffered a food poisoning outbreak in the 2005/06 season on Shaker Day, and coincidentally, they were also battling Arsenal for fourth place. Tottenham lost 1:2 to West Ham when 10 players were affected by food poisoning, and was counter-pressured by the arsenal that won the wave on the same day, and missed the Europa League in the next season.
