On the lawn of Falmer Stadium, the Spurs however faced great adversity as they faced a Brighton team only one rank behind them in the standings (4th). Especially since the Seagulls were coming out of a remarkable performance last weekend, where they had drawn in Liverpool (3-3). Black armband around the arm in tribute to Gian Piero Ventrone, their physical trainer who died on Thursday, the Spurs started very strong until the goal of Harry Kane, deflecting with the head a strong cross from his friend of the attack Heung-min Sound (19th).
