Knowledge is power. The Polytechnic University of Valencia and Genotyping have created the first master’s degree in Precision Medicine and Clinical Genetics, as well as five courses on oncology, cardiology, neurology, pediatrics and rare diseases.
The trainings will be online, they are designed to meet the needs detected in the biosanitary and hospital field and, thus, contribute to promoting Precision Medicine and Genetics in Spanish healthcare, since it has been shown that these improve disease prevention, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
The Master, which has eight transversal modules, and five of clinical specialties and a final projectwill be held between October 2023 and September 2024, and is aimed at doctors, medical specialists in the area, clinical and health professionals, and graduates in biomedical degrees who want to focus on precision medicine, as well as staff who work in the pharmaceutical industry.
Both the Master’s and the University Expert courses have aroused great interest in the MIR, BIR and FIR in Clinical Analysis or Biochemistry, as well as among professionals who work in the pharmaceutical industry, hospitals and healthcare professionals specialized in each of the categories. The master’s degree and the five courses will be taught by experts of recognized prestige in the health sector.
