The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced the results of the November 2024 Pharmacists Licensure Examination, conducted by the Board of Pharmacy across various regions, including the National Capital Region, and cities such as Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. Out of a total of 3,778 candidates, a commendable 2,905 emerged successful in their quest to become licensed pharmacists.
The Board of Pharmacy, responsible for overseeing the examination, is led by Hon. Anthony Aldrin C. Santiago as the officer-in-charge, alongside Dr. Mildred B. Oliveros and Dr. Adelina C. Royo, who was inhibited from participating in this examination cycle.
The results of the examination were made available just three working days following the completion of the last examination day, showcasing the efficiency of the PRC in processing the results.
Starting December 13, 2024, candidates can begin the online registration process for their Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration. To register, examinees must visit www.prc.gov.ph and follow the detailed instructions provided for initial registration. They must prepare several documents, including a downloaded and duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, a notice of admission (for identification only), two passport-sized colored pictures (with a white background and complete name tag), two sets of documentary stamps, and one short brown envelope. Each successful examinee is required to register in person and will also sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony honoring the newly licensed pharmacists will be announced at a later date, adding anticipation to the successful candidates’ journey into their professional careers.
