During the month of the Rosary, October, the Pontifical Organization “Aid to Churches in Trouble” invites you to pray the rosary with the aim of praying for peace and unity throughout the world. “Aid to the Church in Need” (ACN) is coming forward with this initiative inspired by the words of St. Padre Pio that if one million children pray the rosary, the world will change.
In the context of ongoing conflicts in the Holy Land, the organization has called upon everyone to pray the rosary for world peace on Wednesday, October 18.
According to the data available on the organization’s official website alone (on October 16th), more than five lakh children have been assured to participate in this yajna. More than ninety thousand children from the Philippines, more than eighty six thousand children from Slovakia, more than twelve thousand children from Australia, more than forty six thousand children from England, and more than fourteen thousand children from India have come forward to pray for world peace.
Children from Portugal will recite the rosary from the Apparition Chapel in Fatima. About 7,000 children from Poland have been informed that they will participate in the prayer from the Fatima National Pilgrimage Center in Zakopane.
Thousands of people, including many women and children, have died in the Palestinian-Israeli war that has been going on for more than eleven days. Children’s prayers from all over the world called for “help for suffering churches” to restore peace in the Holy Land.
