PranaLuna is an event that was born in 2018 as a wellness experience of the AlmaRosa Foundationwhich seeks to carry the message about the importance of early detection of breast cancer, reminding women of the importance of self care.
Since it began, nine days of PranaLuna and PranaRosa have been held in cities such as Bogota, Medellin, Cali and Valleduparwith the participation of approximately 1,000 women who today are more aware of their body and its essence and who, in turn, have become a channel of life to transmit the message to their families and friends.
Experts and yoga teachers and companies with a high social sensitivity allow this meeting of souls to be possible, to generate awareness and resources that will allow AlmaRosa to continue expanding its message of life.
Of the 113,221 cases of cancer registered in Colombia in 2020, 15,509 correspond to breast cancer for a percentage of 13.7%. It is estimated that breast cancer can strike 1 in 8 women at some point in their lives. Nevertheless, early detection and treatment generates chances of survival up to 90%.
