Greens: Child protection guidelines will ensure a uniform and coordinated approach in particularly sensitive areas in the future
Vienna (OTS) – “Children have a right to the best possible protection once morest violence. This includes physical, psychological, sexual or economic violence, as well as violence experienced, i.e. violence once morest important caregivers. With the child protection guidelines presented today, the Minister of Justice is ensuring a standardized and coordinated approach in this sensitive area,” says Agnes Prammer, justice spokeswoman for the Green Party, regarding the guidelines for family judges on dealing with violence once morest children presented today by the Ministry of Justice.
“With this guide, judicial staff receive a comprehensive toolkit on how children can be best protected in custody and contact proceedings. Young employees of the judiciary in particular receive important advice from the child protection guidelines on how they should act in the event of violence once morest children,” says Prammer and explains: “Since child protection must be guaranteed far beyond the courts, it was our decision It is important to make this guide with clear action strategies available to organizations active in child protection, such as family court assistance, child protection centers, psychosocial counseling centers, women’s shelters, violence protection centers, child and youth welfare services, or the police, so that they can quickly recognize violence once morest children and, in the best case, can prevent it.”
