Political Communication Analyst Hendri Satrio said that the people are currently waiting for Prabowo Subianto’s leadership after his inauguration.
This, said Hensat, can be seen from the spirit of demonstrations and public rejection of the revision of the Pilkada Bill and monitoring the Constitutional Court’s decision some time ago.
According to Hensat, many people believe that Prabowo’s steps will be better in the future.
“I see the rush of the people who are waiting for Prabowo’s leadership style, they hope Prabowo can bring better democracy and become an independent president,” Hensat told reporters.
“For me, I hope that the people’s hopes can be heard by Mr. Prabowo so that he can move quickly to fix the problems of democracy in this country after being inaugurated on October 20, 2024,” he continued.
Hensat also said that the public also seemed to expect Prabowo to be able to issue more independent state policies.
