Senior RESEARCH Center for Political Research at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Firman Noor hopes that the ministers in the government cabinet of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka can immediately step on the gas to work optimally for the people.

“Hopefully Prabowo Gibran’s cabinet can immediately step on the gas, OK? Because the condition of our society today really needs attention. There are many things that need improvement after being neglected for so long in an era where everything is all about nepotism, exclusivity and image,” said Firman when contacted, Wednesday ( 10/16).

He hopes that the future government can prioritize the interests of the people rather than individual interests.

“Hopefully this will be more down to earth. And if they say zaken cabinet, they will immediately show that they are a group of experts who are ready to work for the community,” he stressed.

Regarding the provision of ministerial candidates who even invited foreign experts, Firman considered that this was a legitimate thing to do. According to him, it was nothing extraordinary.

What is expected, he said, is that the agenda is not just gathering supplies. More than that, what is expected is the result for the community.

“It’s called provisioning wherever I think the point is to equip those who attend. In the world of companies, education, bringing in experts from outside is a normal thing. In my opinion, this is a normal thing, nothing extraordinary,” he concluded. (Ata/M-4)
