Prabowo begins his first visit
President Prabowo gave a press conference before taking off. Prabowo revealed that he would start his trip by visiting the People’s Republic of China (PRC).(MI)

PRESIDENT Prabowo Subianto began visits to a number of countries on Friday, November 8 2024. Prabowo departed from Halim Perdanakusuma Indonesian Air Force Base, East Jakarta.

President Prabowo gave a press conference before taking off. Prabowo revealed that he would start his trip by visiting the People’s Republic of China (PRC).

“Then from Beijing I will fly directly to Washington DC, fulfilling an invitation from the US President (Joe Biden), from there I will attend the APEC Summit in Peru, in Lima Peru, from Peru attend the G20 Summit in Brazil,” said Prabowo.

Next, Prabowo will fulfill an invitation from British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Then, Prabowo plans to visit a number of Middle Eastern countries before returning to Indonesia.

“This shows that Indonesia is highly respected and Indonesia feels it is necessary to be invited and hold bilateral and multilateral meetings to discuss important issues not only for the economic situation but in a geopolitical atmosphere that is full of tension,” explained Prabowo.

According to Medcom.id, Prabowo took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Indonesian Air Force Base, East Jakarta, at 10.28 WIB. Prabowo was seen using a white plane with the code PK-GRD. The plane says Republic of Indonesia.

Prabowo appeared to be accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs (Menlu) Sugiono and Cabinet Secretary Major Teddy. Apart from that, a number of Red and White Cabinet ministers appeared to welcome Prabowo’s departure.
