RI PRESIDENT Prabowo Subianto will attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) High Level Conference (KTT) which will be held on 11-16 November in Lima, Peru.

From Media Indonesia’s monitoring, there is a special media center for media crew covering the 31st APEC Summit in Peru. The media center is located outside the main APEC event building, namely behind the Lima Convention Center (LCC) Building.

The APEC Peru Summit Media Center has tables and chairs that can be used by media crew. Based on Media Indonesia’s monitoring, several local media, such as RPP, IRTP, El Peruano, Andina, and Canal Online have filled the stands available in the media center.

Not only does it provide facilities that make work easier, the committee also ensures that journalists’ stomachs do not go hungry. It can be seen that the APEC Peru Summit committee also prepared free food and drinks.

As for the plan, the number one person in Indonesia will give a speech on the last day of this grand annual event. The 31st APEC Summit, which was held in a retreat format, took place at the Lima Convention Center (LCC).

The LCC building is known as the January 27th Convention Center or in Spanish the Centro de Convenciones 27 de Enero. The LCC building is also a convention center in San Borja, Peru.

This building is located in the cultural center of the city of Lima, which is in the vicinity of the Museo de la Nación and the National Library of Peru. The LCC building was built on an area of 10,884 m2 and was inaugurated on October 1 2015.

From monitoring by Indonesian Media, hundreds of Peruvian special police forces have carried out tight security. Peruvian special police forces are seen wearing full dark green uniforms and black berets. They were also seen carrying complete weapons.

Not only that, there were a number of police cars and ambulances on standby near the event location. The entrance and exit of the APEC Summit area are strictly guarded when every delegation and vehicle enters and exits.

All delegates from various countries are required to enter the area using special IDs. So far, representatives from Brunei Darussalam, Japan, South Korea and Malaysia have visited the APEC Summit venue in Lima, Peru.
